8 Days Discover Kenya and Tanzania Safari

Combine the adventure of both Kenya and Tanzania and experience the incredible landscapes and wildlife of both beautiful countries. Starting in Nairobi, we will guide you through the most notable parts of each nation from Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, where you’ll view breath-taking vistas, abundant wildlife, and endless plains. The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes that make up the famous Great Migration. Arrive in time for lunch. After which you’ll proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

The whole day is dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. Start game drive as you drive towards the lodge. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 Species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many animals can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, reedbuck, lions, buffalos, leopards, baboons and many species of plains game. Afternoon out for another game tracking session around the lake, where rhino, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, leopard, and waterbuck can easily and closely be spotted. the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, and many species of plains game.

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park Known for its signature attraction of the sight of hundreds of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Africa’s best views. Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate.

You’ll have lunch at the famous Nairobi Carnivore restaurant, renowned for its succulent steaks of game meat. As you continue to Amboseli.

Amboseli to Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning breakfast after which check out with packed lunches and start game drives in Amboseli National park, continue with game drives until early noon -after which drive to Namanga border, exchange vehicles and proceed to Ngorongoro.

Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

Early morning Descend to the Ngorongoro crater which is home to the vast, “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. You’ll have a full day safari game drive during lunch you’ll have a picnic with a scenic view. After lunch travel to Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater to Amboseli National Park

Full day safari in Serengeti National park which is best known for its abundance of animals and the great wildebeest migration. Its famous known for its 2,500 Lions the largest concentration found anywhere. The park also has over 518 identified bird species where some of them are Eurasian migrants who are present in the European winter months from October to April.

Serengeti - Nairobi

After breakfast, drive to Nairobi via Arusha. Lunch enroute. Then you will be transferred to your hotel or to the airport.
